The Medical Director of IMI has been involved in the development and application of intraoperative monitoring services for the last eighteen years. He has served as the Chief of Neurology for Greenwich Hospital, a Yale affiliate, in Greenwich, CT where he spent the majority of his time in the subspecialty of Neurophysiology. Dr. Conley’s training includes a Neurology residency and fellowship in EMG and Neurophysiology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He has had additional training in research at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD, clinical training at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square in London, and training in intraoperative monitoring at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. He received his M.D. with Honors from the University of Nebraska. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Neurology and Psychiatry (Neurology) and of the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine. He is an active member of the American Society for Neurophysiological Monitoring and the American Clinical Neurophysiology Society. He serves on the clinical faculty of the Department of Neurology at Yale University.

Sam Johnson D'ABNM Our Director of Operations has an extensive background in both Audiology and intraoperative neurophysiologic monitoring. He a certified, licensed Audiologist and a diplomat of the American Board of Neurophysiological Monitoring. His is an active member of both the American Society of Neurophysiological Monitoring and the American Speech and Hearing Association. After aquiring valuable experience in customer service and sales during his work as an Audiologist that ranged from hearing aid selection, fittings, and aural rehabilitation to cochlear implants Mr. Johnson began working in the field of neuromonitoring over ten years ago. Since that time, he has demonstrated mastery of monitoring many types of surgical procedures from routine spine to language mapping. His management skills have allowed him to achieve continued success at Impulse Monitoring Inc.

Jim Persyn CNIM Jim Persyn is a board certified neurophysiologist (CNIM) who began his career with two of the largest US intra-operative monitoring companies. His extensive travel across the country, assisting in high risk surgeries, led him to become a clinical trainer. With years of clinical and mentoring experience he accepted a position as area manager with his previous company. In 2004, he joined Impulse Monitoring as a senior clinical neurophysiologist and Washington DC area manager. Since joining Impulse, Jim has published and presented at national conferences. In January of 2008, he became the Mid-Atlantic Regional Manager. Currently, he manages six IOM teams throughout five different states. His responsibilities include the management, implementation, and success of all daily operations in his region.

Faisal Jahangiri, M.D. D'ABNM Faisal joined Impulse Monitoring in January 2004 as a Senior Clinical Neurophysiologist and Trainer. He earned his MD degree (MBBS) from the Khyber Medical College in Peshawar, Pakistan in 1991 followed by residencies in general surgery and radiology. He has worked as a medical instructor in Anatomy and research assistant in Biomedical engineering at Case Western Reserve. He earned his CNIM certification in Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring in 2000 and his Board certification in Neurophysiologic Monitoring (ABNM) Diplomate in early 2003. He is an experienced neurophysiologist and manager, having managed teams of up to 14 neurophysiologists at major medical centers in Ann Arbor and Philadelphia before joining Impulse Monitoring.
Mr. Martin is a senior Clinical Neurophysiologist is an accomplished electroneurophysiology technologist and holds certifications in both Intraoperative Monitoring and Evoked Potentials with the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists. He has been providing intraoperative monitoring services for 11 years and has held positions as Director and Regional Manager, Clinical Development for US NeuroMonitoring Inc., and Director for Virginia Surgical Monitoring Services, LLC. He has published articles related to IOM research in international journals and presented research results at national intraoperative monitoring meetings.
