The Impulse Monitoring management team is highly experienced and knowledgeable in all facets of neurology, neurophysiology, neuromonitoring technology, autotransfusion and the practice and administration of healthcare. The team combines its expertise and leadership in clinical care, healthcare financial management, chronic disease intervention and clinical care, and healthcare information technology to deliver a unique and much needed approach to minimize the risks of spinal- and brain-related surgery. Gene Cattarina
President & Chief Executive Officer
Gene Cattarina joined Impulse Monitoring from Bellevue, WA-based LYNX Medical Systems, the leading provider of emergency department revenue management solutions, where he served as president and chief executive officer. LYNX was sold to Picis, Inc. in 2007. Mr. Cattarina came to LYNX from E&C Medical Intelligence (NY), an industry-leading provider of automated OB clinical decision support and documentation systems, where he held the position of executive chairman of the board. For nearly two years, Mr. Cattarina also served as advisor for Galen Partners (NY) and Trident Capital (CA), two large private equity firms focused on healthcare. He spent six years with Landacorp, Inc., an Atlanta-based medical software and disease management solutions provider. After leading Landacorp's initial public offering as president and CEO, Mr. Cattarina was named chairman in 2003. Landacorp was later acquired by SHPS, Inc. in 2004. Prior to Landacorp, Mr. Cattarina served as president and CEO of Medicode, Inc., a Utah-based healthcare information and coding management solutions firm, which was acquired by United Healthcare Corporation in 1997. From 1986 to 1995, Mr. Cattarina served in a number of leadership roles with TDS Healthcare Systems Corporation,
Atlanta, including President and Chief Operating Officer. Following the acquisition of TDS by ALLTEL Corporation in 1993, Mr. Cattarina continued as
president and COO of TDS and then as Executive Vice President of ALLTEL Information Services - Healthcare Division through 1995. Before joining TDS, he held various positions with Technicon Corporation, a clinical laboratory automation company, including President, Domestic Division. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Brooklyn College, NY.
Mark D'Addato CPA MBA
Chief Financial Officer & Vice President - Operations
Mark D'Addato is a Certified Public Accountant and has a Masters degree in Business Administration from George Washington University. His industry experience has primarily been in healthcare services and products, along with extensive experience in financial auditing and consulting. He spent six years at Ernst & Young where he performed a variety of tasks including cost reports, financial forecasts, business valuations, systems review and maximizing health systems revenue. Mr. D'Addato joined Impulse Monitoring following ten years as a contracted Chief Financial Officer, as well as a Chief Operating Officer within multiple healthcare and other companies whose products included software service, healthcare coding services, managed care, practice management and not-for-profit health care. In these roles he provided daily supervision as well as operational oversight and redesign guidance. Mr. D'Addato is experienced in a variety of corporate tasks including company formation, acquisition due diligence and negotiations, in addition to traditional CFO and operations responsibilities.
Thomas Conley, MD
Founder and Chief Medical Officer
Thomas Conley has been involved in the development and application of intraoperative monitoring services for the last 22 years. He has served as the Chief of Neurology for Greenwich Hospital, a Yale affiliate, in Greenwich, CT where he spent the majority of his time in the subspecialty of Neurophysiology. Dr. Conley's training includes a Neurology residency and fellowship in EMG and Neurophysiology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He has had additional training in research at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD, clinical training at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square in London, and training in intraoperative monitoring at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Dr. Conley received his MD with Honors from the University of Nebraska. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Neurology and Psychiatry (Neurology) and of the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine. He is an active member of the American Society for Neurophysiological Monitoring and the American Clinical Neurophysiology Society. Dr. Conley is now an Emeritus Consultant in Neurology at Greenwich Hospital, serves on the clinical faculty of the Department of Neurology at Yale University, and is a consultant in Neurology to a number of academic medical centers.
Richard O'Brien, MD FRCP (C) MBA

Richard O'Brien earned his MD in 1982 from the University of Western Ontario and has been active in clinical neurology since 1990. He holds board certifications in both Internal Medicine and Neurology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as well as an MBA from Simon Fraser University. Dr. O'Brien has over 16 years of clinical experience in electromyography and is an active member of the American Society of Neurophysiologic Monitoring. He is also experienced in applicable computer technology and in developing and implementing professional data reporting systems. Dr. O'Brien served as the Chief of Neurosciences at the Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster, British Columbia for two years.

Robert Snow
Senior Vice President-Marketing
Robert Snow is the former President of Biomedical Photometrics, a biotechnology instrumentation company. Mr. Snow has held a number of senior management roles in the medical instrument and service industry. He served as the Vice President of Sales and General Manager of Advantage Medical, a medical device company specializing in electrophysiology equipment. For the last five years he has dedicated his career to the IOM industry, serving as a management consultant to a number of IOM medical service companies, neurophysiology monitoring companies, and instrumentation companies in the US and Canada.
Christopher Brown
Vice President - Sales
Christopher Brown is a veteran of 16 years in healthcare sales. Mr. Brown joins IMI from InteliStaf where he served
vice president and general manager of their $110 million division travel staffing division and played a key role in a company turnaround strategy that led to its sale in July 2007. Mr. Brown began his career with AMSCO International, a provider of capital equipment to hospitals. STERIS CORPORATION, a provider of a wide range of equipment, consumables and services to healthcare, pharmaceutical, industrial and government customers subsequently acquired AMSCO in 1996. At STERIS, Mr. Brown served in a variety of sales and marketing management and executive positions, ultimately heading an organization of five regions that was comprised of 50 people, including 30 sales representatives. His organization continually exceeded its business and operational plan. Additionally, he was responsible for the successful development of the company's
surgical and critical care business unit.
Janine Gregory

Counsel
Janine Gregory is responsible for directing Impulse Monitoring's legal work and serves as company secretary. She joined IMI in February 2007 after five years as general counsel for a healthcare staffing company. Prior to that she was Of Counsel in the Washington, D.C. office of Crowell & Moring LLP, where she specialized in corporate and commercial issues. Originally from England, Ms. Gregory has a law degree from the University of Oxford and began her legal career working as a solicitor in London. With over 20 years experience working in both private practice and in-house, Ms. Gregory has developed wide-ranging expertise in many different areas, including contracts, M&A, human resources and employment, company secretarial, compliance, HIPAA and healthcare.
