Welcome to Impulse Monitoring, Inc. (IMI), a leading provider of outsourced monitoring and support services to hospitals and other facilities. Among our services are intraoperative neuromonitoring (IONM) for spinal, nerve and brain-related surgeries and Autotransfusion (AT).

IONM offers insight into the nervous system during surgery that provides critical information to the surgeon that can allow early detection of neurological compromise and identification of functional neural structures.

The scope of our IONM service includes neurophysiologists who provide monitoring in the operating room, supported by dedicated real-time, remote physician monitoring. IMI's approach to IONM that provides better insight into a patient's condition during surgery to facilitate better decision-making that enables the practice of better medicine.

IMI's AT service involves an attending clinician using state-of-the-art equipment - commonly called a "cell saver" - to capture and cleanse a patient's own blood during surgery, making it available for transfusion instead of donated blood.
