Welcome
We're Impulse Monitoring, Inc. (IMI), a leading
provider of outsourced intraoperative neuromonitoring to hospitals and other health care
facilities.
IONM offers insight into the nervous system during
spinal, nerve and brain-related surgeries. Use of
IONM facilitates the surgical process and can reduce
surgical risk by providing critical information and alerts
to surgeons of potential harm or compromise to the
spinal cord or neural structures.
IONM provides better insight into
a patient's condition during surgery to support better
decision-making that enables the practice of better
medicine.
IMI's highly trained neurophysiologists located in the operating room,
work in partnership with supervising physicians who oversee and interpret
neurophysiological data gathered via broadband transmission in real-time.
We provide services to nearly 300 leading hospitals and over 1000 surgeons in
28 states and the District of Columbia. Since our founding in 2002 we have provided
monitoring for over 140,000 cases. Impulse is a subsidiary of NuVasive, Inc. (Nasdaq:
NUVA).
